Bob Dylan streams new studio track, “Stay With Me”

Bob Dylan has premiered a new track from his forthcoming studio album, Shadows In The Night. The song, "Stay With Me", is currently streaming on the NPR site. Shadows In The Night, which is released on February 3, contains songs popularised by Frank Sinatra. The bulk of the material on the album was recorded by Sinatra while he was signed to Columbia Records during the 1950s.

Dallas Taylor, CSNY drummer, dies at 66

Dallas Taylor died on Sunday [January 19] of unknown causes in a Los Angeles hospital. He was 66. Taylor [pictured, right] was best known for his association with Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, but his credits also include Van Morrison and Paul Butterfield's band.

Some fantastic new additions here, though it's been tough these past couple of days to navigate away from the playlist that Caribou posted on Youtube: 1,000 tracks that you're advised to play on shuffle. I keep getting Wire and J Dilla every time I dig in, but it's really a constant source of familiar pleasures and usefully contextualised new discoveries.
