Portishead's Beth Gibbons has covered Black Sabbath's 1971 song "Black Sabbath" as Black Sabbeth.
The track, which you can hear by clicking below is by Bristol based stoner rock band Gonga and features Gibbons on vocals. Meanwhile, back in February, Adrian Utley of Portishead said that the band members were "clearing our schedules" in order to work on their fourth album.
Shoe company Converse are set to release five different Black Sabbath themed trainer styles.
The Chuck Taylor All Star shoes will make up part of the brand's 2014 spring collection, and feature artwork from a selection of the band's albums, including 'Black Sabbath' and 'Paranoid', reports Rolling Stone. The band and shoe makers previously collaborated in 2008.
Emerson, Lake and Palmer's Carl Palmer<.strong> has revealed that he turned the chance to become Black Sabbath's drummer when they reformed in 2011.
Palmer, who is also a member of Asia, said he was approached by guitarist Tony Iommi to join the band when they got back together two years ago after original drummer Bill Ward refused to come on board.
Geezer Butler has hinted that Black Sabbath's current tour will "probably be the last" they play.
The band, who released their 19th studio album 13 earlier this year, and are also set to play a series of UK tour dates in December. However, speaking to the Chicago Sun Times, Butler said that he had "a feeling" that the band would not tour together again.
