Black Sabbath have made Official UK Album Chart history with their first Number One in nearly 43 years. Sabbath's new album,13, entered the Official UK Album Chart at the top. The last time Black Sabbath were Number One in the UK was 42 years and eight months ago in October 1970, with their second album Paranoid.

Black Sabbath are currently streaming their new album 13 online. Visit the band's iTunes artist page, click on 'View in iTunes' to hear the album in full. 13, which will be officially released on June 10, is the first album Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler have recorded together since 1978's Never Say Die!. The album was produced by Rick Rubin and features Rage Against The Machine's Brad Wilk, who replaces original drummer Bill Ward.

Black Sabbath have added an extra date to their UK tour. The Midlands band, who are due to tour in December in promotion of their new album 13 will now perform a second date at Birmingham's NIA on December 22. A gig on December 20 was previously announced and has already sold out. 13, which will be released on June 10, is the first album Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler have recorded together since 1978's Never Say Die!. Black Sabbath to debut new single on episode of CSI

Black Sabbath have announced that they will premiere their new single "End Of The Beginning" on the season finale of TV show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The track will be played on the May 15 episode of the series. According to a statement, the band will perform the song when actors Ted Danson and Marc Vann go to a Black Sabbath gig to "investigate a trail of murders with horrifying similarities to the sins in Dante's Inferno."
