Next month, Arctic Monkeys play two shows at London’s Finsbury Park to more than 100,000 people, which makes it a reasonable moment to look back at the band’s journey from the Sheffield suburb of High Green to their current all-conquering place in a rock pantheon where they are now comfortably settled as one of the great British bands of the last decade.

Directed by British artist Jake Nava, best known for shooting Beyonce's 'Single Ladies' and 'Crazy In Love', the black and white clip features the Sheffield band performing in a biker bar.
Arctic Monkeys were the big winners at the NME Awards 2014 with Austin, Texas last week (February 26), picking up five awards including Best British Band, Best Live Band and Best Album for 'AM'.
Arctic Monkeys have announced a new single, "Arabella".
The track is taken from their latest album, AM, and will be released on March 10, 2014.
The band have also announced details of a new outdoor live show, at Marlay Park, Dublin, Ireland on Saturday July 12, 2014.
They have sold out two shows at London's Finsbury Park on May 23 and 24.
Alex Turner has discussed the possibility of a follow-up to the Arctic Monkeys current album AM.
Speaking in this week's NME, which is available digitally and on newsstands now, Turner says he already has an idea for the record, mentioning the fact that a similar idea led to the creation of AM.
