Robbie Robertson’s son writes children’s book about his father

The Band's Robbie Robertson is the subject of a new children's book, written by his son, Sebastian. Rock And Roll Highway: The Robbie Robertson Story recounts the entire arc of Robertson's career and includes appearances by Buddy Holly, Ronnie Hawkins and Bob Dylan. Sebastian Robertson has previously written Legends, Icons & Rebels: Music That Changed The World, co-written with his father, which was published in 2013.

Former Primal Scream guitarist Robert 'Throb' Young has died, according to reports. As yet, there has been no official statement regarding the circumstances of Young's death, but several figures close to the musician have posted messages of condolences on Twitter. Young, who met Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie when the two attended secondary school in Glasgow, was a pivotal member of the band and played on classic albums including 1991's 'Screamadelica' and 2000's 'XTRMNTR'. He left the band to go on sabbatical in 2006.
