Third part of the Bourne franchise is a superior Bond-action thrill

Is it weird to like a record even though it reminds you, however faintly, of something you never liked very much? I only ask because I've been playing this new Iron & Wine record quite a lot this past couple of weeks.

Damon Albarn, being something of a native as he hails from nearby Colchester, closes tonight's set by The Good, The Bad & The Queen by displaying his intimate knowledge of the A12. It's perhaps not the most rock 'n' roll way to end a festival, but then The Good, The Bad & The Queen aren't necessarily going to play by the rules.

Ah, so this is art rock, Latitude style. Sad to report, it does nothing very much for me. But I guess it's always going to be hard to follow the Hold Steady.

Apologies for late posting, but got carried away round at the Other Stage, there was a nice run of back-to-back bands that it would have been churlish to try and wade back to the press area. Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro were as good as I'd hoped they'd be.
