Red Hot Chili Peppers have unveiled the next two tracks in the set of 18 new singles they are set to release over the next six months.
The tracks are titled "Magpie's On Fire" and "Victorian Machinery" and you can hear them by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking. They will be formally released on September 11.
The band released tracks titled 'Strange Man' and 'Long Progession' earlier this month and will release another two tracks, this time titled 'Never Is A Long Time' and 'Love Of Your Life', on October 2.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are planning to release 18 previously unheard songs from the sessions for their last album, I'm With You.
According to Rolling Stone, the band will begin on August 14 with the release of "Strange Man" and "Long Progression", and on September 11 they will release a follow-up, "Magpies" and "Victorian Machinery".
Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer has spoken about working with Blur and Gorillaz mainman Damon Albarn as part of Africa Express.
The pair traveled to Ethiopia with Albarn for the project and described their experience of the country as "profound".
Speaking to NME, Flea spoke at length about how much he enjoyed the trip.
Former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Jack Sherman has hit out at his former bandmates after he was not invited to attend the band's induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame last month.
The band were inducted along with the Faces/Small Faces, Guns N' Roses and Beastie Boys at a ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio last month, and Sherman has criticised his former bandmates for not allowing him and Jane's Addiction guitarist Dave Navarro to not attend the ceremony.
