Baltimore pair return to a sparser template with graceful, nuanced fifth

The Space Project compilation album featuring songs by a host artists including Spiritualized, Beach House and Youth Lagoon has been made available to stream online. The LP, which features 14 tracks and will be released on April 19 for Record Store Day, incorporates sounds recorded in space during the Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 space probes. Members of Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear and Beach House are among the artists teaming up up for a short tour in which they will perform Gene Clark's 1974 album No Other in its entirety.

Beach House have unveiled the video for their new single, 'Wild'. Click below to watch the occasionally unsettling promo, which debuted on Pitchfork and features a series of urban vignettes, including violent and sexual scenes. The video was directed by Johan Renck, who has previously directed videos by New Order, The Libertines, The Streets, Bat For Lashes and Suede, as well as Lana Del Rey's recent H&M commercial, in which she sang a version of jazz standard 'Blue Velvet'.

Beach House have told their fans that they shouldn't be angry at Volkswagen for mimicking one of their songs in a new commercial, but should blame the advertising agency instead.
