Ian McLagan dismisses any chance of The Faces reuniting in 2015

Ian McLagan, the former keyboard player in the Faces has poured cold water on Rod Stewart’s recent claims that the band could be set for a reunion. Earlier this month the singer told Boston radio station WZLX: “Ronnie [Wood]'s office is talking to my people, and we're ear-marking 2015."

Beatles fans get reply from Paul McCartney after 50 years

Paul McCartney has replied to two fans who first contacted him 50 years ago. BBC News reports that McCartney wrote a reply to Barbara Bezant and Lyn Phillips decades after they recorded a message on to tape in 1963 and sent it to the Finsbury Park Astoria in London, where The Beatles were performing live. The tape was later found at a car boot sale with its buyer deciding to try and locate the two women.

MC5 bassist Michael Davis dies aged 68

Michael Davis, bass player with seminal garage rockers MC5, has died at the age of 68. Davis died on Friday (February 17) at the Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California after a month-long battle with liver disease, reports The Associated Press.
