Test pressing of lost Aphex Twin album up for sale for £8,000

A copy of an Aphex Twin album that only reached the test pressing stage is being sold for $13,500 (£8,000). The extremely rare album, titled Caustic Window, was printed on four sides of vinyl and is currently listed for sale on Discogs.

Rare Jarvis Cocker-directed music videos revisited as part BUG: Warp Records special

Warp Films celebrated its tenth anniversary on Friday (April 12) with a special edition of Adam Buxton's BUG video showcase at the BFI Southbank. The showcase featured rare early music videos by a young Jarvis Cocker, including 'LFO' by LFO and Aphex Twin's 'On', which were produced between 1990 to 1993 in the years directly before Pulp's own meteoric rise to fame.

Atoms For Peace unveil previously unheard Radiohead and Thom Yorke tracks

Atoms For Peace unveiled their debut BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix on Saturday night (March 9), featuring previously unheard Thom Yorke and Radiohead tracks. As well as cuts from Oneohtrix Point Never, Actress, Aphex Twin, and DOOM, the mix also featured a new Thom Yorke track titled 'Has Been' as well as unreleased Radiohead guitar loop 'Harmonics Loop'. New MGMT album for June release

The forthcoming new MGMT album is reportedly set for a June release. The follow-up to Congratulations has been recorded over the past year in a cabin in Buffalo, New York. Rolling Stone claims that Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser's third album will be "even weirder" than their last. "We're not trying to make music that everyone understands the first time they hear it," explains Goldwasser of the album, which has been inspired by Aphex Twin and house music.
