The Eagles have revealed that their forthcoming world tour may well be their last,
Speaking in London earlier today (April 25) ahead of the UK premier of their History Of The Eagles documentary at the Sundance London festival, the band opened up about their planned tour.
Guitarist Bernie Leadon is reportedly to rejoin The Eagles for their upcoming History Of The Eagles tour.
Rolling Stone reports comments made by current Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh in Billboard. "Bernie's brilliant," says Walsh. "I never really got a chance to play with him, but we've been in contact. We see him from time to time, and I'm really glad he's coming because it's going to take the show up a notch, and I'm really looking forward to playing with him, finally."
The Eagles have been awarded honorary doctorates of music by the Berklee School of Music.
The ceremony, held in Boston on Saturday May 12, also saw Alison Krauss and Ethiopian musician Malatu Astatke honoured.
Previously, Berklee, the largest independent college of contemporary music in the world, has awarded honorary doctorates of music to David Bowie, BB King, Aretha Franklin and Quincy Jones among other.
