Hey, here are my 154 favourite albums of 2014. As usual, I haven't aimed for a fixed number; just listed everything, in a loose order, that I've enjoyed these past 12 months.

Always a bit of a gamble doing this, to be honest but, since it’s June, I’ve tried to put together a list of my favourite albums of 2014 thus far. Many caveats forthcoming, not least that my slightly ad hoc way of trying to remember what I’ve liked means I’ve almost certainly missed a few things.

Glastonbury stage times announced

The stage times for this month's Glastonbury festival have been revealed. Scroll down for information on the timings for the Pyramid Stage, Other Stage, West Holts Stage, The Park Stage, John Peel Stage Acoustic Tent and Avalon Stage. Glastonbury 2014 takes place on Worthy Farm over June 27-29, with the gates to festival opening on June 25. Robert Plant, Jack White, Pixies, The Black Keys, Wilko Johnson confirmed for Glastonbury 2014

Robert Plant, Jack White, Pixies, The Black Keys and Wilko Johnson are among 87 names confirmed this morning [April 4] for this year's Glastonbury festival, which takes place from June 27 to 29. Meanwhile, Kasabian have been confirmed as Sunday night's headline act, joining Friday headliners Arcade Fire.

Sex Pistols, David Bowie and Paul Weller among artists set for exclusive Record Store Day releases

Nirvana, Paul Weller and Oasis are among the artists who have contributed releases to Record Store Day 2014. Paul Weller will release new material on a seven-inch, with the single limited to just 2,500 copies. Meanwhile, Nirvana's 'Pennyroyal Tea' will be released on the same format and Oasis' debut single 'Supersonic' will be re-released on 12-inch. A full list of all of this year's releases can be found on the official Record Store Day website.
