Beth Jeans Houghton has spoken about her plans to make her second album in Los Angeles, explaining that Neil Young has a lot to do with her decision. The Newcastle-born singer wants to record the follow-up to her delayed debut album 'Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose', released earlier this month, as quickly as possible, and after a special experience in Los Angeles last year, wants to do it in the City Of Angels.

Dexys to release first new album in 27 years

Dexys Midnight Runners - now known simply as Dexys are set to release their first album in 27 years. 'One Day I'm Going To Soar' will be out on June 4 and makes for their first release since 1985's 'Don't Stand Me Down'. The band announced the news via their Facebook page.
