For some reason, I've been struggling to write about the new Dungen album for a few weeks now. They are, if you're in the dark, a pretty rampant Swedish psych band who had a fair bit of success with their "Ta Det Lugnt" album a couple of years ago.

Bob Dylan confirms full track listing and release date for The Bootleg Series, Vol. 10 – Another Self Portrait (1969-1971)

Bob Dylan has confirmed the full tracklisting for The Bootleg Series, Vol. 10 - Another Self Portrait (1969-1971). The album will be released on multiple formats on August 26 in the UK via Columbia Records. It includes 35 rarities alongside unreleased recordings and will be available in two disc standard and four disc deluxe editions and a vinyl edition.

It’s Record Store Day on Saturday; a kind of weird, but necessary I guess, annual event that’s become a critical point in release schedules. I’ve been going through the lists of releases at recordstoreday.com and thought it might be worth picking out a few things that are worth looking out for. Increasingly, a fair amount of the day’s business is built on canny catalogue management aimed at collectors (especially vinyl fetishists), and there are a bunch of things here that fall roughly into that sector:

Bob Dylan, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Kate Bush and Paul Weller head up Record Store Day 2013 releases

The complete list of 125 records due for release on Record Store Day 2013 on April 20 has been revealed. Among the highlights, David Bowie is releasing a 7” of “The Stars (Are Out Tonight”/”Where Are They Now” from his new album, The Next Day, alongside reissues of the 1973 single, “Drive In Saturday” and his “Bowie 1965!” EP. As previously reported on Uncut Bob Dylan will release demos of “Wigwam”/”Thirsty Boots” from the Self Portrait sessions.

Bob Dylan confirms Record Store Day release

Bob Dylan has confirmed he will release a 7" single for Record Store Day 2013. Last week, we reported rumours that Dylan was planning to release two tracks - "Wigwam" and "Thirsty Boots" - from the spring 1970 sessions for the Self Portrait album. Dylan's record label, Columbia Records, have now confirmed the rumours are true, and the 7" single will be on sale in selected independent record shops for Record Store Day on April 20.

Bob Dylan announces spring American tour dates

Bob Dylan has confirmed American tour dates for April. This latest batch of dates will begin on Friday, April 5 at Alumni Arena in Buffalo, NY. Support will come from Dawes, whose new album, Stories Don't End, is released on April 9. Dylan's record label, Columbia, has also confirmed that they will release a 7" single on April 20 for Record Store Day: "Wigwam", backed with "Thirsty Boots". Bob Dylan Spring 2013 Tour Dates
