And in Britain she is remembered, if at all, for her 1980 hits “Behind The Groove” and “I Need Your Lovin'”. But, in the US, Teena was one of the biggest stars of the ’80s, producing numerous hits and albums which continue to shame the Ciccones of this world with their intelligence and innovation, including 1980’s self-produced Irons In The Fire, 1981’s It Must Be Magic and 1986’s jaw-dropping Emerald City.
