Dinosaur Jr will be making “Almost Ready” available as a free download on March 5.

The new track is taken from J Mascis and co’s highly anticipated new studio album “Beyond.”

It’s taken 18 years for the original line-up of the band; J Mascis, Lou Barlow and Murph to re-unite and create the new album.

The group reunited in 2005, after tentative shows to promote their back catalogue re-issues went phenomenally well, and they decided to try and attempt an album.

The result is like they never parted.
