We're after your questions for a certain Mr Starr...

With a new album Postcards From Paradise on sale March 31, Ringo Starr is set to answer your questions in Uncut as part of our regular An Audience With… feature.

So is there anything you’ve always wanted to ask the former drummer with Rory Storm and the Hurricanes?

How did he become interested in skiffle?

What does he remember about working with Peter Sellers on The Magic Christian?

What’s his favourite Beatles album?

Send up your questions by noon, Thursday, April 2 to uncutaudiencewith@timeinc.com.

The best questions, and Ringo’s answers, will be published in a future edition of Uncut magazine.

Please include your name and location with your question.

A few years ago, I did a compilation of 53 of the best love songs made in the last 40 years – from the solo works of Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Starkey. I sent you, Olivia, Yoko and Paul copies of this 4-disc concept album… twice. On the 2nd time, I asked you to consider producing this album to raise reconstruction funds for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda in the Philippines. Only Yoko’s lawyer responded and explained that due to your various contracts with different recording companies, this project would be impossible to do. Anyway, I chose 7 of your love songs for my compilation: Me and You, Love Is, I’ll Still Love You, I’m Yours, It’s No Secret, Imagine Me There and Walk With You. The question is: Why don’t you sing any of these songs in your concerts? They’re gems! They could be made into a medley and you’ll certainly sweep the audience off their seats. Peace and Love from the Philippines! From Bu Castro (Quezon City, Philippines)
