Jack White reveals former anxiety issues

Jack White has spoken out about his anxiety issues. In a new interview, the former frontman of The White Stripes has that in his days with his old band, he was plagued by concerns over what other people thought about him. "I just sat in the corner, pondering, letting it torture me..." he said. "You just can't win – the judgement that's thrown on you is unbearable." White made the comments to MSN, and also explained that he covered "You Just Can't Win" by Van Morrison as a result of his feelings of vulnerability.

Keith Richards has admitted he sometimes forgets how to play The Rolling Stones songs. The guitarist said that sometimes during the first few bars of a song he forgets how to play the entire track, but that he has become so accustomed to playing the songs, he remembers it automatically. 'When you kick off a song you say, 'I can't remember how the middle bit goes', but the fingers remember even if you don't," he told Absolute Radio.

Ryan Adams is set to record an album with his wife Mandy Moore. The couple, who married in March 2009, are set to work together on Moore's new studio album, which is due out in 2013. Speaking about her plans for her seventh studio album, Moore told CBS News: "I'm probably going to work with my husband on this album. I'm not sure necessarily in what capacity, but we've been writing a little bit together. He has a studio, so I definitely want to make my record there."

The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has said that the band didn't agree to play The Olympics opening ceremony because they weren't 'stage ready'. Speaking to ITN – via Rolling Stone - in a video which you can see below, Jagger said: "I didn't think, to be honest, we were quite stage ready. We haven't played in a long time and we weren't really stage-ready, and it's a very big gig and it's very risk-taking. I didn't think the band themselves felt they were really ready to do it at this point."
