[b]Morrissey[/b] has announced that he will return to playing in the UK with a six night residency in January.

The former [b]Smiths[/b] frontman will play at London’s Camden Roundhouse, following on from previous residencies in New York and Los Angeles.

Morrissey is due to release a best of compilation next year and is also working on material for a new album.

The London shows are the singer’s first since last year.

He will play Camden from January 21:
