[b]Leonard Cohen[/b] and [b]The Beastie Boys[/b] are among the artists nominated for entry into the [b]US Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame[/b] this year.

[b]Madonna[/b], [b]Chic[/b] and [b]John Mellencamp[/b] are also among the nominees, of which five will be chosen by over 600 music experts.

Artists are eligible for entry 25 years after their first recording. Musicians who entered the [b]Hall Of Fame[/b] last year were [b]REM[/b], [b]Grandmaster Flash[/b], [b]Van Halen[/b], [b]The Ronettes[/b] and [b]Patti Smith[/b].
