A luxury Rolls-Royce specially customised for the The Who's late bassist John Entwistle has been put up for auction.
The brown-coloured 1980 Silver Shadow was especially converted from a standard saloon into a makeshift estate by a private engineer so Entwistle had room to get his Irish wolfhound dogs in the back. After the late bassist died from a heart attack in Las Vegas in 2002 the vehicle was sold by his family to a Scottish laird who has now decided to put it up for auction.
Ronnie Wood has said that he is hoping to persuade his bandmates in The Rolling Stones to headline Glastonbury this summer.
The rumour that The Stones could be set to make their debut appearance on the Pyramid Stage in 2013 has been abound since they returned to the stage with two gigs at London's O2 Arena in late 2012. Mick Jagger has previously dropped hints at the possibility of the band playing at the festival and now Ronnie Wood has revealed that he is keen to play too. "Wouldn't it be nice?" he said when asked about the possibility this week by The Independent.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse have released a video for "Twisted Road", taken from their forthcoming album, Psychedelic Pill.
The promo clip contains images of Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead and Roy Orbison, as well as footage of Young and Crazy Horse travelling along the highway by tour bus.
This is the third video from Psychedelic Pill, following on from “Walk Like A Giant” and “Ramada Inn".
