Billy Talbot, bassist with Neil Young & Crazy Horse, has suffered a mild stroke, according to a report on Rolling Stone. The story reports that Talbot will sit out the band's forthcoming European tour dates. "Talbot's doctors expect him to make a full recovery," the group said in a statement. "They have advised Talbot to sit this tour out and recover his strength." Talbot's place will be filled by Neil Young's longtime bassist Rick Rosas.

Bob Dylan is to release a Deluxe Edition of The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration. The concert took place on October 16, 1992 and included performances from Neil Young, Lou Reed, Johnny Cash, George Harrison, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Band and Dylan himself. This Deluxe Edition will be released by Columbia Records and Legacy Recording on March 3, 2013 on Blu-ray, 2 DVD and 2 CD sets.

Bob Dylan is among the artists appearing on the soundtrack for Inside Llewyn Davis, the new film from the Coen Brothers. The film, which is set in Greenwich Village in the early 1960s and stars Oscar Isaac as an upcoming folk singer, contains contemporaneous music by Dylan and Dave Van Ronk alongside material performed by members of the cast, including Isaac and Justin Timberlake, and Marcus Mumford.

Bob Dylan has been speaking about his new album, Tempest. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Dylan explained that the album - his 35th studio record - started out as "something more religious," he says. "I just didn't have enough [religious songs]. Intentionally, specifically religious songs is what I wanted to do. That takes a lot more concentration to pull that off 10 times with the same thread – than it does with a record like I ended up with."
