The Replacements website opens for business

The Replacements have launched a new website. The site - which can be found here - went live yesterday [December 10]. It includes a jukebox of the band's music, videos, a discography and a merchandise store. Earlier this year, the band reformed for their first gigs in 22 years. There is no news as to whether they will play any further dates.

Boards Of Canada’s ‘Live Album Transmission’ crashes official website

Boards Of Canada's live album playback crashed their official website tonight (June 3). The live album transmission of Tomorrow's Harvest, their first full-length record in eight years, was greeted with phenomenal demand, causing an error message to appear on boardsofcanada.com. However, fans could still hear the album via the live YouTube feed, which was posted on their official Facebook.

The Doors launch new website

The Doors have launched a new, expanded website. www.thedoors.com contains video clips and new photo galleries, as well as an archive listing all the band’s shows with setlists, gig notes, and in some cases, audio available for download. Users will find detailed info on songs like "Light My Fire", which showcases the original single artwork as well as videos and lyrics. Additional website features include an integrated community for fans to meet, discuss and share all Doors memories.

Kraftwerk fans have been left frustrated as massive demand for tickets to the group's forthcoming residency at London's Tate Modern crashed the website yesterday (December 12).
