Laura Marling streams new album ‘Once I Was An Eagle’ ahead of official release

Laura Marling is streaming her new album, Once I Was An Eagle, online a week before its official release. Listen to the follow-up to 2011's A Creature I Don't Know via The Guardian. Her fourth album, it was recorded at the Three Crows Studio owned by producer and solo musician Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams, Vaccines), with Dom Monks on engineering duties. It is set for release on May 27.

Mike Mills: “There are zero plans” for an R.E.M. reunion

Mike Mills has revealed that there are "zero plans" for an R.E.M. reunion. Speaking to Rolling Stone ahead of the 25th anniversary re-release of the band's Green album, Mills admitted, "We said we're done and we're done. If we honestly thought there was a chance of a reunion tour, we might have said so at the time." R.E.M. broke up in September 2011, six months after the release of their fifteenth studio album, Collapse Into Now.

Boards Of Canada to release first new album in eight years

Boards Of Canada have announced plans to release their first new album in eight years. The reclusive duo will put out Tomorrow's Harvest on June 10 via Warp Records. The album will consist of 17 tracks. Scroll down for the full tracklisting. Boards Of Canada, who comprise brothers Marcus Eoin and Michael Sandison, last released an album - The Campfire Headphase - in 2005. The duo haven't performed live since 2001.
