I was hoping to include the new Wild Beasts album, “Smother”, in this week’s rundown, but it doesn’t seem to have turned up yet. Today, hopefully.
In the meantime, a lengthy playlist, and one which unfortunately features quite a few records I’d hesitate to recommend. One I can definitely get behind is the D Charles Speer album, which I’ve written about in my column in the new issue of Uncut. And if you missed yesterday’s blog, Julianna Barwick is well worth investigating, too.
