Paul McCartney has cancelled a further tour date in South Korea on doctors' orders. Rolling Stone reports that McCartney's date at the Jamsil Sports Complex Main Stadium on May 28 will now no longer go ahead.

Morrissey postpones more Stateside shows due to illness

Morrissey has postponed more shows in the US due to illness. The singer said that he wanted to restart his tour in Las Vegas on February 9, however, this show has now been pulled, as has his February 10 date in Phoenix. Rescheduled dates are expected to be announced in the coming days. Morrissey recently spoke out following his recent health troubles, which saw him hospitalised at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan.

Rick Parfitt to miss Status Quo gig for the first time

Rick Parfitt will miss his first ever Status Quo gig due to illness. The band recently cancelled six concerts on their European tour because 65-year-old Parfitt was rushed to hospital. Parfitt had a quadruple heart bypass in 1997 after doctors said he was in danger of dying as a result of his lifestyle. After surgery, Parfitt said he was not planning on becoming a "born-again Christian" and would still have the "odd pint".

Paul McCartney: “I feel great”

Paul McCartney has released a video statement, telling fans "I feel great" in the wake of his recent illness. "Everybody's been asking how I'm feeling - I feel great, thank you very much for asking... feeling great, rocking and rolling", said McCartney in the video, which you can watch below.

Morrissey cancels tour

Morrissey has cancelled all dates on his US tour due to illness. The singer was recently forced to postpone live dates in Atlanta, Baltimore and Washington, and has now cancelled his entire tour to give him time to recover from his bout of ill health. A note on the singer's Facebook page explains that the singer is suffering from a respiratory infection he caught in Miami, and his symptoms have now worsened.

Morrissey postpones another gig on American tour

Morrissey has pulled another show on his current American tour. The singer was recently forced to cancel a gig in Atlanta, Georgia after being struck down by illness and he has now postponed tomorrow's show (June 6) at the Revel Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey. A statement on Morrissey's Facebook page says the gig will now take place at the same venue on June 22.

Stooges drummer Scott Asheton dies aged 64

Scott Asheton, the drummer with the Stooges, has died aged 64. According to a report on Rolling Stone , Asheton [pictured, above right] died on Saturday [March 15] from an unspecified illness. Iggy Pop confirmed the news in a statement on his Facebook page on Sunday.
