Atoms For Peace exhibition to take place during London residency

Atoms For Peace are set to stage a pop-up exhibition while their three London shows take place this week. The Atoms For Peace Drawing Room has been created by the band's collaborator, artist Stanley Donwood, and will take place Upstairs at The Enterprise, opposite The Roundhouse in Camden, where Atoms For Peace play their first UK shows on July 24-26. The exhibition will be open from midday-8pm [BST] from July 24-27.

Glastonbury to become first UK festival with a dedicated 4G network

Glastonbury will become the first UK festival with its own dedicated 4G network, it has been confirmed. The festival has struck a deal with mobile service provider EE which will give fans attending the festival fast mobile internet speeds and allow for even quicker photo and video upload times. There will also be an official Glastonbury festival app, which will give festival goers updates from around the site and news alerts. Additionally, two large recharge tents will be built onsite with users of any mobile network able to charge their phones in between watching bands.

My Bloody Valentine added to T In The Park line-up

My Bloody Valentine have been added to the T In The Park bill. The festival, which takes place in Balado, Kinross between July 12-14 will be headlined this year by Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers. Also included in the raft of artists set to appear are Foals, Haim, Phoenix, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris and Beady Eye, along with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Dizzee Rascal and Kraftwerk.

Charlie Watts: “I don’t want to play Glastonbury.”

Charlie Watts has said that he doesn't want to play Glastonbury because he doesn't like festivals or playing outdoors. The Rolling Stones will headline the Saturday night at Glastonbury, joining fellow headliners Arctic Monkeys and Mumford & Sons on the bill for the Worthy Farm festival.

The Rolling Stones have been confirmed as headlining the Saturday night of this year's Glastonbury festival. A post on the official Glastonbury festivals website appeared at 7pm today confirming the line-up of this year's festival. Arctic Monkeys will headline on Friday and Mumford & Sons will headline on Sunday. Other bands playing include Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Portishead, Alabama Shakes, Elvis Costello, Primal Scream, Vampire Weekend, Dinosaur Jr and Cat Power.

Atoms For Peace announce European festival dates

Atoms For Peace have been announced as the headliner for two festivals this July. Thom Yorke’s side project with Flea, Nigel Godrich, Mauro Refosco and Joey Waronker will play The Melt! Festival in Ferropolis, Germany and the Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia. Melt!, now in its 16th year, will also include Alt-J, Django Django, Dan Deacon and The Knife. It takes place between July 19 and 21. Tickets are €119 (£102.85) plus fees including a €5 garbage disposal surcharge.

Kraftwerk to headline T In The Park 2013

Kraftwerk will headline T In The Park 2013. The 20th anniversary of the Scottish festival will also see sets from Mumford & Sons, Rihanna, The Killers, Jake Bugg, Paloma Faith and Alt-J.

The Stone Roses announce one-off show in Dubai in 2013

The Stone Roses have announced plans for one-off gig in Dubai next year. The reformed Manchester band will play the Media City Amphitheatre on February 21, 2013. Tickets for the concert go on sale on Sunday (November 18). Fans can register for tickets at Thestonerosesdubai.com. The band are also set to play two shows at Finsbury Park in London and another at Glasgow Green in June next year. Support for the Glasgow show includes Primal Scream, Jake Bugg and The View. Support for the London shows will be announced shortly.

Richard Hawley and Plan B favourites to win this year’s Mercury Prize

Plan B and Richard Hawley have emerged as the favourites to win this year's Barclaycard Mercury Prize wth odds of 4-1 each. The shortlist of the 12 'Albums Of The Year' chosen by an independent judging panel were announced yesterday afternoon (September 12) at London's Hospital Club. The final award for the £20,000 prize will be announced on November 1. Alt-J were previously named as the odds-on favourite for the 2012 prize by bookmakers, but their odds have now slipped to 5-1.
