Even with a new album out this week, and with the pandemic striking at the heart of how musicians...

[b]Jarvis Cocker[/b] is among a host of British singers set to contribute to a remake of [b]The Beastie Boys[/b]’ recent instrumental album [b]”The Mix-Up”[/b].

Other musicians in talks with the legendary [b]New York[/b] troupe include [b]Lily Allen[/b] and [b]MIA[/b].

Speaking to [b]Billboard[/b], [b]Adam Yauch[/b] said that the album will feature “a bunch of British people”, and also revealed that the group may create a film to go along with the reworked record.

“While we were in Singapore we filmed stuff, and in Australia and different places. We’re talking about cutting it together into a full-length film that kinda goes the length of the album,” he explained.
