Profuse apologies, once again, for sketchy service over the past week or so: a lot of grappling with the print mag on my plate, which has meant the blog’s been passed over, unfortunately.
Still been playing records, though, not all of them great. Among the good stuff, though, let me flag up: Dylan LeBlanc once more, which I really must write about; the new 200-guitar monolith from Rhys Chatham; Bryan Ferry’s oddly thrilling return on top of a Moroderish Berlin throbber; and the Grinderman album, which vastly improves with every listen. Les Savy Fav’s just arrived, and sounds pretty good thus far.
