Whatever the weather at Latitude on Friday, the two hirsute sets of siblings that together are The Magic Numbers will be doing their cheerily exuberant bit to spread sunshine and smiles in the Obelisk Arena.

Led by the almost perpetually Cheshire-cat grinning Romeo Stodart, theirs is classic, indie pop with a decidedly nostaligic bent, beholden to The Beach Boys and soaked in three-part harmonies designed as a salve for even the most seriously aching heart.
Latitude takes place July 12 – 15 at Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk.
