Disregard the somewhat naff concept that holds this album together—this is actually a fantastically eclectic cross-genre trawl featuring material by The Kinks (Pretty Polly, Yellow Pages, Weetabix), Toots And The Maytals (Adidas), Jonathan Richman (Tennents), Marmalade (Gap), Carl Douglas (McDonald's) and Joey Ramone (Citroën). One question: anyone out there remember a Pot Noodle ad set to the strains of Motörhead's "Ace Of Spades"?
