The Stooges, Jimmy Cliff inducted into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

The Stooges, ABBA and Jimmy Cliff are among the acts to be inducted into the 25th Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next March.

The acts, along with The Hollies, will be inducted in a ceremony held at New York's Waldorf Astoria on March 15, reports Billboard.

It is currently unclear whether any of the acts will perform at the ceremony, although Iggy Pop is set to tour with The Stooges throughout 2010.

David Geffen is among other inductees, along with songwriters including Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, Ellie Greenwich & Jeff Barry, Jesse Stone, Mort Shuman and Otis Blackwell.

Acts in the nominations list (which was revealed in September) who haven't been included in the 2010 ceremony include Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kiss.
