Ray Davies Joins Electric Proms Bill

[b]Ray Davies[/b] is the latest addition for this years' [b]BBC Electric Proms[/b].

The five day event takes place in eight venues across Camden from October 24 - 28 - and as previously reported wil join Beatle Paul McCartney and rockers [b]Editors[/b] in taking part.

The former [b]Kinks[/b] songwriter will perform at the [b]Roundhouse[/b] on Sunday October 28 - showcasing material from his second solo album 'Working Man's Cafe' which is due for release the following day.

He will also be performing classic hits from The Kinks' canon including the brilliant '[b]The Kinks are the Village Preservation Society[/b]'.

Ray Davies will also be joined by some very special guests including the Crouch End Chorus.

[b]Tickets[/b] for all of the shows wil be available from tomorrow (September 12) at [b]noon[/b].
