The Cure Announce Wembley Arena Show

[b]The Cure[/b] are set to play a show at [b]London[/b]’s [b]Wembley Arena[/b] in spring 2008.

The gig, to be held on March 20, will be the first in the capital for the band since they completed work on their new album, the follow-up to 2004’s [b]“The Cure”[/b].

Tickets for the gig go on sale on September 29 at 9am.

The band’s record label, [b]Geffen[/b], recently confirmed that the group’s forthcoming album will be a double CD, but [b]Smith[/b] has added that it will be sold at the price of a single album.

It is believed that a single CD version of the record will also be released in 2008.
