Smashing Pumpkins Announce UK Tour

[b]Smashing Pumpkins[/b] have announced that they are heading to the UK for an arena tour in February 2008.

The band's only comeback shows in the UK last year were headlining the Carling Reading and Leeds festival in August, and an intimate show at London's Shepherds Bush Empire around the release of their first album since 2000, 'Zeitgeist.'

The band, comprising original Pumpkins members [b]Corgan[/b] and [b]Jimmy Chamberlain[/b], now also includes bassist Ginger Reyes (The Halo Friendlies), guitarist Jeff Schroeder (The Lassie Foundation), and keyboardist Lisa Harriton.

Tickets for the UK shows go on sale this Friday, November 16 at midday.
