Patti Smith Returns For UK Tour

[b]Patti Smith[/b] has announced she is to tour the UK this autumn, calling at [b]London[/b], [b]Oxford[/b] and [b]Cambridge[/b].

The punk poet and singer, who first came to prominence in 1975 with her debut album [b]"Horses"[/b], is to play two nights at [b]London[/b]'s [b]Shepherd's Bush Empire[/b] as part of the tour.

London Shepherd's Bush Empire (October 22)
Oxford Carling Academy (22)
Cambridge Junction (23)[/b]

Earlier this year, [b]Smith[/b] released [b]"Twelve"[/b], an album of covers, featuring her renditions of songs by [b]Nirvana[/b] and [b]The Rolling Stones[/b] among others.
