The punks to play warm-up show before Isle of Wight headline slot
The Sex Pistols have announced that they will play a ‘club’ show in Birmingham prior to their headline appearance at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival.
The show at Birmingham Academy on June 11 will be the reformed punks first gig in the city for 32 years.
Last year the Sex Pistols reunited for a series of sell-out shows, celebrating the 30th anniversary since releasing their defining album´Never Mind The Bollocks… Here Come Sex Pistols.
The band comprises original members John Lydon, Steve Jones, Paul Cook and Glen Matlock.
Tickets for the Birmingham warm-up show go on sale this Friday (March 28) at 9am.
