PJ Harvey to record new album as a public art exhibition

PJ Harvey is to record her next album as part of a public art exhibition at London's Somerset House. She will work on the album with her band behind one-way-mirrored glass. The project, called Recording In Progress, will take place from January 16 to February 14. The project will be staged in a box in a recently opened wing of the venue and has been described as “a mutating, multidimensional sound sculpture”.
