Eliza Carthy’s unbilled secret guest at this weekend’s Wychwood Festival held on Cheltenham Racecourse is singer songwriter Ed Harcourt, Uncut can exclusively reveal.
The folk siren will team up with singer songwriter Harcourt on Sunday on the Independent stage where the duo plan to do a set of ghost ballads and folk songs that have a distinctly sinister edge to them.
Other performers at the festival, which runs from Friday June 1 through Sunday June 3 include Fun Lovin’ Criminals, The Levellers, Woodstock legend Country Joe MacDonald and Badly Drawn Boy.
