Björkish and frosty one minute, husky and breathy the next, Karin's fragmentary tales of sex and alienation are delivered in jarringly off-centre Scandi-English. From polished power ballads to skeletal blues shuffles, this is mostly hypnotic stuff, with a hard-edged cubist beauty that resists easy categorisation.
