In between cameos from various achingly hip Hoxton and NYC guests, the fraternal duo at the heart of the group, David and Stephen Dewaele, have opted for a muscular techno-grunge sound that smacks of designer lofts and Proper Bloke Rock. Alas, despite their many skills, the brothers are merely adequate songwriters. Hence Any Minute Now sounds as graceless and inessential as a Garbage B-sides collection. Don't give up the night job.
