Bohemian Rhapsody
high | low
A capella intro, lush ballad sequence, operatic wig-out and air-guitar finale make for an Olympian six-minute concept that’s buried deep in the hard-drive of your soul – whether you like it or not.

I Want To Break Free
high | low
Starts with the band dressed as Coronation Street characters. Then we’re transported to a Queen concert with suspect Nuremberg overtones. Banned by MTV

Bicycle Race

Fifty lovely ladies riding around Wembley stadium in the buff. That’s all you need to know.

Radio Ga Ga

Mercury in a giant prawn outfit, Taylor as an Elizabethan prince, May playing guitar on an elongated human skull and Deacon looking uncomfortable as a silver unicorn.

Somebody To Love

Forget the George Michael remake. Go to the original if layer upon layer of muscular longing is what you’re after. No office party is complete without it.

We Are The Champions

The Queen Of The Night

Hi Uncut fellas,
I'm very pleased to see a magazine in which Queen is given the importance they deserve. It must be remembered that Queen were the first band that shot a video for a song - Bohemian Rhapsody - so we can say that thanks to that idea from Queen, we now have the chance to expect a video with every song, and the birth of that concept helped shape what today we know as music TV channels.

Very important contributions to the music of these last 30 years.
God Save The Queen.

José Fernando Gallego,
From Colombia with love.

World appeal for Queen!

Even here in middle America Queen rules with anyone who has musical taste. Of course the sports events blast the typical Queen mantra-songs, but the airplay is still solid. Great Band, one of the top three of all time. Queen rules the waves!

Jon Wilde on Rolling Stone

Mr. Jon Wilde has written for "Rolling Stone" about Queen and I have to say that it would be better if he decides to write for the "Hello" magazine because he was talking all the time about the private life of Queen.

Why don’t you write about others aspects of Freddie??? Like... how much he brought to the rock scene? About how much you could learn with his music? His voice was great and was the only rock star that sang with an opera diva. I guess it isn’t morbid.!!???

Why all the music journalist always talk about the same recurrent subject when they write about Queen and Freddie? I guess there isn’t enough imagination and the jealousy is their sport.

Mick Jagger, Beatles, Elton John and a lot of artist had a life full of excess and nobody remembers that all the time. Every journalist talks about them as an artists. Why it doest happens the same with Queen?

I repeat there isn’t imagination and there is a lot of jealousy because Freddie was a free soul and live life the way he wanted.

Mr. Wilde if you want to talk about Freddie's private life why don’t you write how Freddie faced up his disease and how brave he was?

Just a huge thanks

I guess he was the only one, I guess we'll never find someone inhabited by such a strength anymore... and that's why we must be thankful for all that he's been giving through his genius during two decades.
Is there anything else to say than , thank you, just thank you... because even though you're gone, your soul is still there, alive in every song, in every word and we'll never forget you, how could we?
I can't spend a single day without listening to, at least, one of Queen's albums and I don't think it's ever gonna change... it gives me too much strength, too much hapiness, it's almost too hard to explain how much the simple sound of Freddie's voice can drive me crazy... so for all this, simply.. thank you. Music is without a doubt the most beautiful gift that can be offered in life, and... when it's his gift to us all... it's even more beautiful, and unforgettable.
