Metal God Marilyn Manson To Play Download

Self-proclaimed ‘Antichrist Superstar’, Marilyn Manson has been confirmed to play this years’ Download festival, taking place in June.

The metal God will be making his second appearance at the rock festival, last storming the stage in 2003.

Manson says he’s continuing his mission, saying ““I have a responsibility to make the music loud again, so that we won't hear the world coming to an end."

Joining previously announced headliners Iron Maiden, Linkin Park and My Chemical Romance will be Grammy Award winning Aussie rockers Wolfmother, Slayer, Bring Me To The Horizon and Killswitch Engage.

Many more artists are still to be confirmed for the mosh-tastic festival.

It takes place at Donnington Park from June 8 – 10.
