Intastella - Intastella Overdrive

Intastella, featuring ex-members of funk-punks Laugh and fronted by glamour-puss Stella Grundy, were slightly too late for baggy and, consequently, fell quickly. For all their meandering groove jams, the multi-faceted bleeps and wah-wah guitars are delicately interwoven. All that's missing are immediate pop thrills. A cover of Northern soul classic "The Night" and swan-song single "Soon We'll Fly", though, come close.
