Glastonbury Tickets Still Available

Tickets for this year's Glastonbury Festival are still available after 24 hours of going onsale yesterday morning at 9am (April 6).

It is the first time in several years that the festival's allocation of tickets have not sold out within hours of going on sale.

By yesterday lunchtime, 100, 000 out of a total number of 137, 500 had been sold.

Glastonbury Festival organiser told BBC news that "I think three years of mud may have taken their toll, but even so, 100,000 isn't bad."

He added: "It's a nice little sale for a Sunday morning. And that's without them even knowing who's playing - we haven't announced our line-up yet

Kings of Leon, Jay Z and The Verve are confirmed to headline the the famous music and arts festival this Summer at Worthy Farm, Somerset from June 27 - 29.

The ticket price for the festival is £155 for a weekend ticket, plus £5 booking fee per ticket and £4 post and packaging per order.
