A new book “Elvis and the Birth of Rock – The Photographs of Lew Allen” is to be published in December.

Featuring remarkable photos of Elvis Presley at the Cleveland Arena show in 1956, a career-defining year with his first number 1 album “Elvis Presley” and film “Heartbreak Hotel”, Lew Allen had exclusive access to the King at the very start of his ascent to fame.

The limited edition, signed and numbered book also features a collection of photographs of other great, early rock ‘n’ roll stars Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers and Bobby Darin.

“Elvis and the Birth of Rock” is published by Genesis Publications.
