Blue Öyster Cult - A Long Day's Night

Thirty years on, and then some, Blue Öyster Cult are best served in the live arena. This solid live piece, recorded at Skyline, Navy Pier, Chicago, finds Donald 'Buck Dharma' Roeser, Eric Bloom and Allen Lanier rifling the Öyster beds for tried and trusted band faves like "Stairway To The Stars", "OD'd On Life Itself" and the majestic "Quicklime Girl". Amid these pearls, and the inevitable gold setting of "Don't Fear The Reaper", are a few flawed items. But the energy and humour of "Buck's Boogie" and the ludicrous "Godzilla" should jerk BOC freaks' chains.
