‘Look at the world, it is exploding. . .’

Just a short post today, basically to bring to your attention a video on YouTube that I’ve been alerted to.

It accompanies an urgent re-working of Barry McGuire’s 1965 hit, “Eve Of Destruction”, a record that briefly had the former New Christie Minstrel vocalist – who’s name-checked alongside Roger McGuinn in The Mamas The Papa’s “Creque Alley” – as ‘The New Dylan’.

Written by PF Sloan, who had originally wanted The Byrds to record it, the song is here given a timely relevance – although I have no idea who it’s by.

If you know anything about the clip, who made it and the band that’s playing, please let me know.
