Babyshambles Reschedule UK Tour

Babyshambles have rescheduled tour dates postponed from this month, and have added extra dates too.

The tour has been postponed till December in order to help Pete Doherty continue to recover from his drug addiction.

In a joint statement the group have said, “With hindsight, it was too much for Pete to get back into touring so quickly after his discharge from rehab. The extra couple of months will ensure that he is in good shape for the December dates.”

The first date of the tour, December 4, coincides with the release of new 5-track EP “The Blinding.” Featuring five new songs, the EP will not be eligible for the UK singles chart due to the number of tracks.

The tour dates, including seven new additions are as follows

Newcastle Academy (December 4)
Liverpool Academy (5)
Bristol Academy (6)
London Hammersmith Apollo (7)
Lincoln Engine (8)
Inverness Ironworks (9)
Glasgow Academy (10)
Middlesbrough Town Hall (11)
Manchester Academy (12)
Nottingham Rock City (13)
